Moonfrost’s Collection Album records items you have owned. A current launch guide documents 13 collection sections: Tools, Crops, Golden Crops, Resources, Dyes and Paint, Fish, Meals, plus six furniture sets—Industrial, Mid-Century Modern, Cozy, Modern Basic, Eclectic and Magic. Use the album as a discovery checklist, not as proof that every visible silhouette is currently obtainable.
Make every first copy count
An entry is reported to register when the item first reaches your inventory through harvesting, catching, crafting, buying or a quest reward. Once registered, it remains in the album even if you later use or sell the item. Check the album before disposing of a rare first copy, and confirm the entry actually filled.
Items owned before first opening the album are reported to count as well, but verify that behaviour in your save. If an item remains blank, move a newly acquired copy into the relevant inventory and reopen the album. Furniture may use a different inventory context, so confirm collection credit before placing or recycling it.
Complete the natural collections
For Crops, unlock seed stock through farming progression and grow at least one of each live line. Golden Crops are separate, so ordinary completion does not fill the golden section. Maintain enough plots to test several harvests without sacrificing quest food.
For Fish, travel beyond one convenient spot. The current launch guide reports a 17-entry Fish collection requiring farther Mountain lakes and the Cemetery for several distinct catches. It excludes Chicken Fish from that album list despite documenting the fish elsewhere. Treat those details as dated and compare them with the live silhouettes after patches.
For Resources, gather normally before grinding obscure names. Trace missing entries through item descriptions, active crafting recipes, current areas and rebuilt shops. A data-browser record is not evidence of a secret obtainable resource.
Acquire
Let the item enter the correct inventory through a normal current-build source.
Confirm
Open the Album and verify the silhouette or row registers before using the item.
Annotate
Record the source, prerequisite, region, tool or recipe, and date checked.
Classify
Mark missing entries as reachable, progression-gated, or presently unconfirmed.
Complete meals and furniture sets
Cook one example of every recipe actually visible at Walter’s station. A current guide reports 15 station recipes but only 14 obtainable in the launch Early Access route, with Boiled Eggs linked to an unavailable quest at that check date. Do not waste time forcing the final silhouette if the current public build still has no acquisition path.
For furniture, work one set at a time: Industrial, Mid-Century Modern, Cozy, Modern Basic, Eclectic and Magic. Record blueprint source, material chain and whether crafting the item is enough to register it. Rebuilt businesses, quests, progression and vendor stock can all affect availability.
The Steam store’s “hundreds of blueprints” description spans crafting and construction; it does not guarantee that every album silhouette or extracted furniture record is immediately obtainable. Preserve materials for required homes before crafting an entire cosmetic set.
Handle impossible-looking gaps
Compare the blank entry’s name and image with current player-facing sources. Check whether the corresponding quest, level, area, business or blueprint exists in your save. Look for a current verified acquisition, not merely an internal ID. If current guidance identifies the entry as unavailable, label it that way and move on.
Do not edit the save to force collection credit. It can obscure whether a later update adds the real source and may damage quest state. Keep a dated list of unconfirmed gaps and retest after substantive patches.
The current independent guide says collection completion itself does not pay a reward, so there is no need to sacrifice core progression to fill a questionable slot. The album’s value is tracking discovery.
